Learning Log 3

This week, I learned outside the class that is seminar in my major. I learned about "Linguistics and Language Teaching" by Miss. Budsaba Kanoksilapatham from Silpakorn University. First, She taught about teaching methods pedagogy and linguistic competence. Next, I learned phonetics and phonology. She taught me how to pronounce the letter “h”, consonant sounds (think, thank, them, the) and vowel sounds (guess, said, bread, friend, full-fool, back-bag). Then, I learned to stress vocabulary such as ceremony, atom, sofa, occur, comfortable etc. Also, I learned about Collocations (economic crisis, red rose, black and white) Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, and Lexical Semantics, which was American English and British English. For example, apartment, eraser, pants are American English but flat, rubber, trousers are British English. Besides, I learned about discourse that was written vs spoken language in English, I also learned about corpus linguistics. I joined the seminar about Applying Linguistics for Teaching. I learned many important things in Linguistics and it could to develop my English skills and prepared me to be a good teacher in the future.

Learning Log 2

In this week, I learned about how to add a widget to blogger. I learned to add clock, calendar, counter and video in gadgets on my blog. I also added the educational video that have benefits to speaking and reading skill. After that the teacher taught me how to link friends from my blog. I learned how create a QR code to use in my blog. Finally, I learned to making text, saving work, and sharing them to the public.

The Abbreviation
IT= (Information Technology)
is the use of any computers, storage, networking and other physical devices, infrastructure and processes to create, process, store, secure and exchange all forms of electronic data.

ICT = (Information and Communications Technology - or Technologies)
    is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or application, encompassing: radio, television, cellular phones, computer and network hardware and software, satellite systems and so on, as well as the various services and applications associated with them, such as videoconferencing and distance learning

CAI = (Computer Assisted Instruction)
    a program of instructional material presented by means of a computer or computer systems.

CALL (Computer assisted language learning)
an approach to language teaching and learning in which the computer is used as an aid to the presentation, reinforcement and assessment of material to be learned, usually including a substantial interactive element

CMC = (Computer-Mediated Communication)
     is a process in which human data interaction occurs through one or more networked telecommunication systems

TELL = (Test of English Language Learning)
    is a touch-screen delivered language proficiency assessment that can be used to screen, diagnose, and progress monitor English language learners in grades 
K-12.

WBI = (Web-Based Instruction)
 is teaching and learning supported by the attributes and resources of the Internet.

MUD = (Multiple User Dialogue)
is a multiplayer real-time virtual world, usually text-based. MUDs combine elements of role-playing games, hack and slash, player versus player, interactive fiction, and online chat.

MOO = (Multiple Domain Object Oriented) 
is a text-based online virtual reality system to which multiple users (players) are connected at the same time.

Learning Log 1

This week, I have learned to method to create blog from www.blogger.com. The first, I login www.blogger.com with my G-mail. Next, I started to create my blog. The teacher told me to find many beautiful templates and told about method to change template to me. I also learned about the acronyms that are important in this course, such as:
ESOL; English for Speakers of  Other language.
TESOL; Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
ELL; English as a Second languages
EFL; English as a Foreign languages
